Montemarino is a selection of the oldest Cortese vines from Montemarino, a vineyard on the highest hill in Gavi planted on clay-limestone soils with southern exposure, providing the vineyard with sea winds. The grapes macerate briefly and undergo fermentation and full malolactic fermentation in barrel.
