Gamay from various parcels, mostly that of the Tete de Citron in Vaux-en-Beaujolais of 30-50 year-old vines on blue granite and clay limestone soils. Grapes see 3 months of whole cluster maceration, and then only the free run juice is extracted without presssing. Aged in concrete for about a year.
