Faiquefai is made of grapes that were harvested from Nacho Gonzalez's As Chozas vineyard located on the River Sil. The vineyard has slate and clay soils and is planted with red grapes Mouraton, Garnacha Tintorera, Mencia, and white grapes Palomino, Godello, Dona Branca. All grapes are harvested and fermented together followed by aging in 225L French oak barrels.
