100% Sangiovese from the Le Coste vineyard grown on volcanic soils. The 2022 vintage was very complicated, a lot of water and hail forced Clementine and Gianmarco to harvest early before full ripeness to prevent mold. Given the circumstances, they decided to vinify the Sangiovese grapes with a direct press with the free-run must fermenting with the wine for 3 weeks in stainless steel. The wine then rests in old barriques for 1 year. The name "Rosatello" hints at the lightness and fragrance of this wine.
